Day Program Information

Program Details

Program focuses on critical thinking skills involving problem-solving, time-sensitivity, and adaptivity.

Program is geared towards disabled adults who have the self-determination, desire to learn life skills or improve on the skills they possess, and view their lives transitioning towards an independent life-style.

Program focuses and embraces integrating disabled adults into our community. One main objective is mode of transportation, we utilize Green Bay Metro System daily.

Quality over Quantity: I believe having adequate invested time with the individuals we serve is the best approach. No more than 6 participants are enrolled per day to ensure this quality is met.

Developing responsible, respectful, and resourceful adults is a key element of Promoting Abilities.

Program focuses on retraining disabled adults from having others taking care of everything for them, to then slowly transitioning into that role of independence.

Weekly Programs

Program sets manageable goals with Care Team and guardians to work towards achieving those goals. Once goals are achieved on a skill set day, this program does a small graduation celebration with participant and services are then discontinued for the participant. This program is not designed to be a “forever program.” Our goal is to get individuals to be the most independent they can be. We are proud of all our accomplishments and the participants who have worked hard to be independent.

Program offered Monday through Friday from 8:55am-3:00pm.
